The Obituary

I have fought a good right. I have finished my course, I have kept the Faith, Henceforth there is laid up for me a
crown up of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, Shall give me at day; and not to me only,
but unto all them also that love his appearing.  Timothy 4:7-8
Marion "Bob" Gothie Williams was born on March 6th, 1951, in Miley, South Carolina to the late Brooker T. Gothie & Ethel Mae Mingo Gothie.

She received her formal education at the former North District Training School in Varnville, SC where she was a 1969 graduate. At an early age, she accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and was united in fellowship with Rizer Chapel United Methodist Church, Ehrhardt, SC. She held many duties within the church until her health began to decline. Her main and most enjoyed service was being on the usher board.

Marion Gothie Williams was united in holy matrimony to the late Leon "Gibb" Williams on December 22nd, 1979. Their union was blessed with three Children: Ryan, Marquita, and Creola.

In her leisure time, before her health began to fail, she enjoyed sewing, cooking, watching soap operas, and spending time with family. She was employed with Hampton School District One as a Dietician Aide. She retired from that position in 2010.

On November 14th, 2021, at 9:31 p.m., Marion left her earthly home and entered eternal rest.  She heard the summon of her Master's call, saying "Well Done".  She was preceded in death by her parents, Brooker T.
