Peter A. Light was born on June 22, 1944 in Needham, MA. son of Doris Browne and step-father, Stan Browne.
He attended Miami Edison High School in Miami, Florida to the age of 17 and then went into the Marines where he received his GED. He served his country proudly for over 6 years. He finished his career in law enforcement serving the Hampton SC police department and community.
Pete’s hobbies and passion were raising his dogs, watching college football, NASCAR racing, guns and collecting anything to do with a wolf.
He loved his friend and companion, children, grandchildren and his dogs. Pete was a huge dog lover and the local animal shelter would call him about a certain breed of dogs that needed a home. Our dad was a charitable man by giving donations to The Boys Town, Special Olympics and The Wounded Warrior Project.
