The Obituary

 Lawrence Junior Allen, age 52, gained his wings on the evening of June 2, 2022. He was born on July 17, 1969. Lawrence, affectionately known as Larry, was born in Brooklyn New York to Janice Allen Lacroix and the late Amos Reid. 

On his final day, he was surrounded by his former wife, Lenora Telfair, his three daughters, and his grandmother. Larry graduated from Wade Hampton High School, Class of 1987, in Varnville South Carolina. At Wade Hampton High, Larry played football. 

He gained a love for the highways and became a dedicated truck driver for fifteen (15) years. Thereafter, Larry pursued and advanced in a career of car sales. He became top salesman for 5+ years. 

Larry was predeceased by his father, Amos Reid and his sister, Shirlene Allen. 

He leaves to cherish many fond memories: His mother,  Janice Allen Lacroix of Brooklyn New York; Three daughters: Taneia Telfair of Colorado Springs, Yalonda (Timothy) Warren of Hampton South Carolina, and Latonda Telfair of Yemassee, South Carolina; One son, Malcolm Telfair of Colorado Springs; His grandmother, Viola Frazier of Varnville South Carolina; One sister, Darlene Allen of Brooklyn New York; One Aunt, Charlene Reid of Varnville, South Carolina; One uncle, Sam Reid of Augusta, Georgia; Nine grandchildren: Tynia, Sha’Nyra, Ka’leah, Mahki, Brandon Jr, A’mya, Ava, Chayce, and Ares; Other relatives and loving friends.
