Bronx, New York - Brother Charles Cohen was born in Varnville, SC on November 23, 1950, to the late Ms. Anna Cohen and Dea. George Scott. He departed this life on July 11, 2022, at his residence in the Bronx, New York.

Brother Cohen was educated in the public schools of Hampton County, South Carolina. In his later years, he relocated to New York and became a loving figure in his neighborhood. He was a maintenance worker for many years until he began experiencing issues with his health. Charles loved cheering for his favorite baseball team and was a dedicated Yankees fan. He was a quiet soul who cherished his reflection and meditation time. Charles was a beloved member of his community and will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by both parents, three brothers, two sisters, and his loving daughter, Conswello Jenkins.

He leaves to mourn his passing: Three sisters: Allean Collins, Ethel Scott, and Prophetess Mary Ann Williams, all of Varnville, South Carolina; Four brothers: Daniel (Kim) Collins, Levon Scott, Leon (Evelyn) Scott, and Michael (Debra) Scott, all of Varnville, South Carolina; Two step-sisters: Deloris Roberts, Millie (Evon) Collins, both of Varnville, South Carolina; One step-brother, Ricky (Marilyn) Collins of Varnville, South Carolina; One sister-in-law: Elaine Cohen of Bronx, New York; a loving and devoted friend,  Barbara Gilbert of Early Branch, South Carolina; a host of loving nieces and nephews along with caring family and friends.
