Mr. George Capers was born May 20, 1952 to our late Mr. Sam Capers, Sr. & Mrs. Martha Elizabeth Capers. He entered eternal life on July 6, 2022 at his residence in Varnville, South Carolina. George was a 1974 graduate of the former North District Training School of Varnville, South Carolina. He was a contractor for many years, and a mechanic at the former Billy Crews Mechanic & Auto body Shop of Cummings, South Carolina. He loved to fish and watch western television shows. George confessed Christ at an early age as a member of Antioch Christian Church( DOC), until he later moved to Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. Preceding him in death was his father, Mr Sam Capers, Sr.; His Wife, Mrs. Donna Capers; His sister, Ms. Earnestine Capers; and his son, Mr, Kelsey Mickens(tweet). He leaves to cherish fond memories his mother, Martha Elizabeth Capers of the Camp Branch Community of Varnville South Carolina; (1)Child: Ricky Capers of Navarre, Florida; (1) Stepdaughter, Candy Weeks of Navarre, Florida; (5) Siblings: Sam(Ruthie) Capers, Jr. of Point South South Carolina; Margaret(Minister Israel)Hughee and Gail Smart, both of the Camp branch Community, Gloria Parish of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; and Poncie (Sharon) Capers of Ridgeland, South Carolina; (2) Adopted brothers: Wernoskie and Andre Williams; (2) Aunts: Helen and Retha Hamilton, both of Varnville, South Carolina; (1) Uncle, Marion Hamilton of Sylvania, Georgia; A special family, The Crews Family; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
