Hassan Amir Collins (Rasta) was born December 15th 1998 in Fairfax, SC to Viola Collins.  He departed this life on Tuesday, February 15th 2022.

Hassan was educated in the public schools of Hampton County, SC.  At young age, he became a baptized member of Huspah Missionary Baptist Church, Hampton, SC.

As a youth, Hassan discovered his talent for fixing engines. As he matured, his love and skills grew for cars, specifically the Crown Victoria. Prior to his passing, Hassan had plans to attend Universal Technical Institute (UTI), Orlando, Florida.  His area of study was to include diesel mechanic training.

He was predeceased by his grandfather German “Malcolm” Davis; two uncles: Clarence “Preacher” Harris and John Collins.

He leaves to mourn his passing one daughter, Amora Collins of Columbia, SC; His mother, Viola Collins and stepfather Eugene Miller of Ridgeland SC; His grandmother, Ella B Collins; Four sisters: Shaneta (Joseph) Collins, Sharmaine Collins and Toquita Mims, all of Columbia SC and Tyshana Leverette of Ridgeland, SC; One brother, Tyrese Collins of Varnville, SC; His beloved friend: Yasmin Perkins; His godmother, Cynthia “Piggy” Collins; Four aunts: Shirlean Anderson of Hampton SC, Mary Ferrell of Tillman, SC, Juanita Boles and Cynthia Collins, both of Varnville, SC; Five uncles: Gus Harris of New York, NY, Douglas (Demetria) Collins of Augusta, GA, Ricky Collins and James Collins, both of Varnville, SC and Richard (Lette) Speaks of Varnville, SC; Two great aunts: Dorothy Harris and Juanita Hicks, both of Varnville, SC; Two nephews: Jalen and Jolen Mays of Columbia, SC; And two nieces: Aubrey and Anyia; Other relatives and friends.
