Rodney Richardo Glover
Rodney Richardo Glover Was born June 6, 1986 in Beaufort, South Carolina. He was a son of Mernice (Donald) Savage and Rodney Lee Best. On December 11, 2021, at Hampton Regional Medical Center, Varnville, South Carolina, Rodney (known to others as "Ric") was called home.
Early in life "Ric" became a baptized member of Antioch Christian Church, Disciples of Christ Church, Varnville, South Carolina. At Antioch, Ric served as a Junior Usher and sang on the youth choir.
He was educated in the public school system of Hampton County and later earned his GED. He enjoyed sports and outside activities especially fishing. He was always the one with a joke in his pocket to make someone smile and laugh.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Brother Berness Glover, Sr.; and paternal grandparents, Deacon Willie (Bettie) Best.
To cherish his loving memories always are: His parents, Mernice (Donald( Savage, Varnville, South Carolina and Rodney Lee Best of Fredricksburg, VA; two sisters: Rodnessa Glover (Detrick) of Varnville, SC and Dantesha (Andrae) Sabb of Summerville, SC; one godsister, Kasheera (Benjamin) Cooler; four brothers: George Glover of Statesboro, GA, Rodney (Danielle) Best of Varnville, SC, Cautey (Laronda) Taylor of Fairfax, SC and Marcus Best of Woodbridge, VA; his maternal grandmother, Elease Glover of Varnville, SC; six aunts: Elease (Toby Lee) Williams, Tea (Minister Tyrone) Pryor, Lizzie LeCato, all of Varnville, SC Barbara Johnson of Luray, SC, Ethel Daniels of Williston, SC, and Gloria Floyd of Philadelphia, PA; eight uncles: Ronald (Janice) Devore of Allendale, SC Ernest Williams of Furman, SC, Berness Glover, Jr. of Beaufort, SC, Anthony (Janice) Savage of Augusta, GA, Willie Best, Jr. of Leesburg, GA, Leonard (Wilhemenia) Johnson of Fairfax, SC, Raynoldo Best of Charlotte, NC and Danny Savage of Williston, SC; eight nieces; three nephews; two special cousins to the heart: Rashawn Glover of Allendale, SC and Maliek Butler of Campbranch, SC; a loving special friend of the home, Ms. Latoya Anderson; a host of greatn aunts; great uncles; other relatives and friends.
