The Obituary Claudia Mae Johnson-Greene was born February 10, 1933, in Early Branch, South Carolina to the late Robbie and Helen Young-Johnson. The essence of Claudia was being the central figure in the lives of her children and grandchildren. Anyone who knew them knew that she was a star in their eyes, and that's all that ever mattered to her. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, word puzzles, fishing, singing, and reading. At an early age she became a member of Blunt Chapel Methodist Church in Varnville, South Carolina. After returning home in 1971, she then joined Jerusalem Baptist Church in Cummings, SC, where she was not only a faithful member to the church but served as a devoted choir member. Claudia was a 1951 graduate of Yemassee Training School in Yemassee, South Carolina. Graduating as the Salutatorian, Claudia depicted the definition of a young intelligent independent woman. Claudia was joined in holy matrimony to Wilbur Greene Sr. on October 3rd, 1952. After marrying her husband, Claudia vowed to be not only an amazing wife but a travel partner whose love would never die for her husband. Bearing six children, Claudia spent her days raising and providing for each and every one of them.
