Mr. Franklin O’Banner
(1966     ~     2022)
A full and completed life ends where life everlasting begins.  I’m going home to get my crown, to a place where love and joy abounds.  I’m alright now. I’m home on the other side.  I’ll be there waiting to welcome you, after a while.

Franklin O’Banner, the son of the late Arthur Lee O’Banner and Evelyn Henderson O’Banner, was born on April 17, 1966, in Hampton, South Carolina.  At the age of fifty-five, surrounded by loved ones, Franklin passed from labor to reward.  He transitioned on February 4, 2022, at his home in East Orange, New Jersey. At an early age, Franklin joined the Harmonia Baptist Church, Varnville, South Carolina.  He later relocated to New Jersey.  In New Jersey, he was employed at Dunkin Donuts and Home Depot.  He loved to dress every Sunday, looking forward to going to church.  It was Franklin’s custom to say, “I love you”!  He loved his New Jersey crew who called him “Big F”. Franklin was preceded by and will be greeted by his parents; (2) brothers; His grandparents; Aunts and Uncles. He leaves to cherish fond memories: Krister Chester of the home, East Orange, New Jersey; (8) Brothers: Cecil O’Banner (Chelstia), Deacon Thomas Lee O’Banner (Gloria), Jeremy O’Banner and Lavern O’Banner, Nathaniel O’Banner (Peggy), Wilie O’Banner (Nia) and Jake O’Banner (Rose); His sisters: Brenda Lee O’Banner, Samantha Wright, Annie Lee Washington, Barbara Jean Orr, Francina Harvey, Tonya O’Banner, Beulah O’Banner, and Diane O’Banner; Uncles: Deacon Andrew Henderson (Johnnie) and Emmanuel Henderson; His god-son, Kenneth “Pooh” Broyd; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
