The Obituary

Sunrise June 3,1975   ~     Sunset January 14,2022

Ms. Eartha Denise Smalls Manigault known by those who love her as “Eart” was born on June 3, 1975, to the late Mr. George and Mrs. Peggy Smalls. She was called to rest from her earthly home on Friday, January 14, 2022.

Eartha attended Hunter Kinard Tyler High School and furthered her education at Denmark Technical College, Denmark, SC. She spent the bulk of her career at Allied Air of Orangeburg SC and Crane of Williston, SC prior to taking ill.

Eartha made a mark on everyone she came across with her giving and supportive nature, fashionable style, and her sarcastic jokes. She enjoyed spending time with both her immediate and extended family. She loved fearlessly, but she always told it like it was.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

To celebrate and cherish her memories are: her spouse Socrates Manigault; her beautiful daughters Tawanda and Crystal Manigault; her dear son Demetric Smalls; her granddaughter Alaina Smalls; her loving brother Christopher (Tisha) Smalls of Columbia, SC; her nephew Camren Smalls; her nieces Camille and Callie Smalls; her aunts Emma (Lemmie) Buckels of Jacksonville, FL, Luemisha (Freddie) James of Denmark, SC, Germaine (Charles) Corbitt of Charleston, SC, Evola Rhines of Orangeburg, SC, her uncle Johnnie E. Smalls of Blackville, SC. Special cousins raised as brothers and sisters: Harold, Priscilla, Tasha, Lionel, JC, Bill, Mark, Junior, Sandy, Nessa, Reese and Pat; A host of cousins, grandaunts, granduncles, other relatives, and friends.

A special thank you to the entire staff of H.F. Mabry Cancer Center for their care and generosity.
