Linda Jean Anderson was born January 1, 1952, in Hampton County, South Carolina to the late Wesley Ready and Rebecca Deloach Ready.  She succumbed to the call of rest from earthly toils on December 3, 2021, at Presbyterian Medical Center, Charlotte, North Carolina. 

For a short time, Linda was schooled in the Hampton County public schools until she reached the age of nine.  At that time, she relocated to Savannah, Georgia where she was reared by her maternal aunt and uncle, the late  Bernice (Ellis) Singleton.  In that home, she was reared with cousins Lauretta Mishelle Deloach and Alpine (Raina) Singleton. 

At the age of seventeen, she married Rodney Anderson, Sr.  To this union, four children were born. 

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Wesley Ready; and her brother, Bernard Ready. 

She is survived by her loving mother, Rebecca J. Ready of Pineland, SC; her loving ex-husband and friend, Rodney Anderson, Sr. of Pineland, SC; her children: Rodney Anderson, Jr. of Savannah, GA, Fabianna Anderson of Matthews, NC, Michelle Anderson of Savannah, GA, and Martin Anderson of Charleston, SC; her brother, Sylvester Ready (JoAnn) of Pineland, SC; two sisters: Sheila Ready of Pineland, SC and Sarah Ann Simmons of Beaufort, SC; She is also survived by fifteen (15) grandchildren; eight (8) great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and caring friends (which includes her best friend, Mae Della King of Savannah, GA.
