Ms. Gale Sue Dillard, 56, was born January 25, 1958 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Mrs. Edna Mae Hollyfield Dillard and the late Mr. Willie Ray Dillard. She died on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at the Ridgeland Nursing Center, Incorporated, Ridgeland, South Carolina.

She was educated in the public schools of China Lake High School of California. She earned an associate degree from a college in North Dakota, specializing in the area of nursing. Upon graduation from college, Gale worked in a nursing home in Dewey, Oklahoma. She also attended a technical school in Fresno, California, specializing in beautician.

Preceding her in death are her maternal grandparents: Mary Edna Cook Hollyfield and Wilmer (“Bill”) Franklin Hollyfield; Her paternal grandparents: James Walter Dillard and Izora Cochran Dillard; and, Her sister, Vema Dillard of Muskogee, Oklahoma.

To cherish loving memories are: Her mother, Edna Mae Donathan of Ridgeland, South Carolina; One son, Ralph Dillard of Greenville, South Carolina; Two grandchildren: Mya Renae Dillard of Kentucky and Ayden Isaiah Dillard of Brunson, South Carolina; Three Sisters: Mary Elizabeth Dillard-Tate (Randy) of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Sandra Faye De Pedro of Mexico City, Mexico and Joyce Andrews of Sonora, California; Four Brothers: Ralph Edward Dillard of Dewey, Oklahoma, Steven Ray Dillard of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Ken Franklin Donathan of Shreveport, Lousiana and Scott Donathan (Tammy) of Nixville, South Carolina; (4) Aunts; (5) Uncles; (2) Special Nephews: Jon Donathan (Christina) of Nixville, South Carolina and Derrick Donathan (Courtney) of Nixville, South Carolina; Other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
