On Sunday, July 13, 2014, God called our beloved Eric Tyler Fennell from labor to reward at Memorial Health University Medical Center, Savannah, Georgia. Eric was born December 21, 1993 in Varnville, South Carolina to John Jerry Fennell and the late Etta Mae Haynes Fennell.
Eric was educated in the public schools of Hampton County, South Carolina.
He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Eric’s mother, Etta Mae Haynes Fennell and grandfather, Eddie Haynes, preceded him in death.
To mourn his departure and cherish fond memories are: Eugene Garvin, who reared him as a son; (2) Brothers: John Fennell of Varnville, S. C. and Quinton Fennell of Atlanta, Ga.; (3) Sisters: Page Fennell of Varnville, S.C., Trina Fennell and Keyonna Fennell, both of Yemassee, S.C.; His grandmother, Ms. Ida Mae Haynes of Varnville, S.C.; (6) Uncles: Steve Haynes, William Haynes, Lewis Haynes, and Antione Haynes, all of Varnville, S.C.; Marvin Fennell (Kezia) of Camp Branch, S.C., and Deacon James Fennell (Margie) of Yemassee, S. C.; (4) Aunts: Jenette Williams of Hampton, S.C., Mary Gatson (Jeff) of Ridgeland, S.C., Cora Lin Green (Bernard) and Dana Vaughan (Derwent), both of Varnville, S.C.; (5) Great aunts: Ethel Priester, Nerva Edwards (Jimmy) and Debra Grant, all of Varnville, S. C., Gloria Drain of Smoaks, S.C., and Lumisha Grant of St. Helena Island, S.C.; (4) Great uncles: Lewis Smith of Varnville, S.C., Robert Haynes, and Willie James Grant (Bernease), all of Varnville, S.C., and Leonard Grant, Jr. (Mae) of Brooklyn, New York; A host of cousins and friends.
