In nature, no object is without use or notice to the keen eye of  intelligence or the calm and quiet eye of taste; and no life is without notice.

Sister Roberta Terry Dunbar, the daughter of the late William Terry, Sr. and Birdie Green Terry was born December 2, 1939 in Early Branch, S.C.  An angel interrupted their heavenly duties on Wednesday night, August 6, 2014 and made a visit to the Uni-Health Post Acute Care Nursing Facility, Estill, S.C. It bore the bright spirit of Sister Roberta Terry Dunbar.  She succumbed to the call of death peacefully, leaving behind all which is mortal.

Sister Dunbar attended the public schools of Hampton County, S. C.

At an early age, she confessed Christ and joined Wilkerson Missionary Baptist Church, Early Branch, S.C.  In 1956, Roberta was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Harold Dunbar, Sr.; and to this union was born six children.  She was a devoted homemaker.

Sister Roberta Terry Dunbar relocated to Syracuse, New York in 1968 and became affiliated with the Full Gospel Pentecostal Church of Deliverance under the leadership of the late Elder Alphose Campbell.  When she moved back to Early Branch, Sister Dunbar renewed her membership at Wilkerson Baptist Church where she served until stricken with illness.

She enjoyed fishing, crabbing, and her pot flowers.

Sister Roberta Terry Dunbar was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Dunbar, Sr.; A son, Nathaniel Dunbar; Three brothers: Groover and Timothy Terry and Wattie Capers; Three sisters: Margaret Terry Capers, Hazel Terry Hamilton, and Bertha Ann Terry Middleton.

She leaves to cherish everlasting memories: Four Daughters: Betty J.
