Mr. Daniel Haynes, son the late Mr. Dan and Mrs. Izolar Mingo Haynes, was born March 12, 1941 in Colleton County, South Carolina. He received his formal education in the public schools of Colleton County. Mr. Daniel enjoyed watching the Family Worship Center telecast featuring Bible study and music, and the weekend, hour long telecast of Jimmy Swaggart Ministries on Trinity Broadcast Network (TBN). His most intimate study of the Bible and the love of God was shown daily through the love and dedication of his anointed wife and prayer warrior, Pastor Lula Mae Haynes - the epitome of a "Proverbs 31 Woman".
On November 17, 1963, he was united in holy wedlock to the former Lula Mae Mole of Islandton, South Carolina. This union was blessed with four daughters and three sons.
Mr. Daniel was a former employee of J. P. Stevens, Rizer's Farm and Produce (as a truck driver), and for eighteen years with Williams Farms and Produce of Ashton, South Carolina.
Mr. Daniel was a fun loving person. He had a keen seen of humor. In his spare time, he enjoyed farming, planting beautiful flowers and working in his garden. He will be remembered by his family, and missed by many friends who referred to him as "The man under the sycamore tree - Uncle Daniel". He enjoyed sitting under that tree, watching and waving to his family and friends that passed by. He will be missed.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a grandson, Droderrick Frazier and one sister, Leila Mae Haynes. Death came quickly and he peacefully closed his eyes to rest on Saturday, May 17, 2014 - 4:32 P.M. at Trident Medical Center of Summerville, South Carolina.
