Mary Lee Davis passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, March 22, 2020 in Concord, North Carolina in the home of her daughter.  This followed a courageous battle with cancer.  She was born March 16, 1950 in Brooklyn, New York to Franklin and Bessie Williams.

Mary was a high school graduate of the public schools of New York.  She was gainfully employed as and retired from the medical industry as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

Mary was happily married to the late John Davis, who was her partner in life for twenty years.

Mary’s bubbly personality and heart of gold left a lasting impression on everyone she met.  She made sure everyone in her family and even friends were okay.  If anyone had need, Mary would be there for them.  Many lives were touched by her bright personality and smile which everyone loved!

Mary is survived by three children: Crystal Milan of Brooklyn, New York, Oluwanjoko Williams of Kannapolis, North Carolina, and India Williams of Concord, North Carolina; Fourteen grandchildren: English, Devon, India, Asia, Beyoncé, Zayon, Zayontay, Zanayja, Zaire, Zasan, Zamir, Dwayne, Dakota, and Egypt; Three great grandchildren; Two brothers: Clyde Ezekiel Williams (Evon) of the Camp Branch Community of Varnville, South Carolina and Frank Williams, Jr. (Patricia) of San Diego, California; Three sisters: Grace Marie Williams of Hilton Head, South Carolina, Francine April Williams and Mary Hanson, both of Brooklyn, New York; Two aunts: Viola Pierce of Varnville, South Carolina and Katie Mae O’Leary of Washington, D.C.; One uncle, Sam Reid of Augusta, Georgia; Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
