As a result of the current coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and in conjunction with orders from the Governor for the State of South Carolina, we endeavor to promote social distancing, as well as limit the number of persons during each view at the funeral home.  We ask that you would, after viewing, sign the guest book and leave.  This will allow others the opportunity to view as well.  Please no gathering afterwards. The family thanks you in advance for your prayers and considerations during this difficult time.





Social distancing will be followed at the graveside service as well.  Only ten (10) persons will be allowed under the covering at the gravesite.  For your safety and protection, please follow the directions given.

Rodney Morris was born July 28, 1968 in Varnville, South Carolina to Ms. Evelyn Morris and the late Palmer Wiggins.  He was summoned in death on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at Colleton Medical Center, Walterboro, South Carolina. 

He graduated from Wade Hampton High School, Class of 1986, Varnville, South Carolina. Rodney served his country, enlisting in the United States Air Force on June 23, 1986.  He was honorably discharged on October 22, 1991. 

Rodney was a member of the Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, Varnville, South Carolina. 

Preceding him in death, in addition to his father, was his youngest brother, Jonathan Morris. 

Mourning his departure is his only child,  Ms. Madison G. Morris; his mother, Evelyn Morris of Varnville, South Carolina; his brothers: Dewayne Morris  of Connecticut, and Gregory Morris of North Carolina; honorary brothers: Troy Smith, and Tyhiese Moore both of Varnville, South Carolina; his stepmother, Julia Wiggins of Walterboro, South Carolina; an aunt, Louise Morris of Hampton, South Carolina; his uncles: Wilbur Wiggins and George Morris both of Varnville, South Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews, devoted cousins and friends.
