As a result of the current coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and in conjunction with orders from the Governor for the State of South Carolina, we endeavor to promote social distancing, as well as limit the number of persons during each view at the funeral home.  We ask that you would, after viewing, sign the guest book and leave.  This will allow others the opportunity to view as well.  Please no gathering afterwards. The family thanks you in advance for your prayers and considerations during this difficult time.


Social distancing will be followed at the graveside service as well.  Only ten (10) persons will be allowed under the covering at the gravesite.

Douglas Collins, Jr., affectionately known as DJ, was born January 31, 1994 in Allendale County, South Carolina to Mr. Douglas Collins, Sr. and Mrs. Angela Davis Collins.  He entered eternal rest Monday, May 4, 2020.

DJ, a 2012 graduate of Wade Hampton High School, Varnville, South Carolina, was employed by LeCruset of Early Branch, South Carolina. 

He was a devoted and loving father to his children.  And, he loved cooking and telling jokes. 

He was predeceased by his sister, Jazmine Collins; maternal grandparents, Thomas Lee Davis and Debra Ann Davis-Capers; paternal grandfather, German Davis; three uncles:  Clarence Harris, Sr., John Collins, and Lavander Moore; and a cousin, Infant Jeremiah Drayton.

DJ is forever loved by his father, Douglas (Demetria) Collins, Sr; His mother, Angela Collins; Two children: Khloe and Khalob (Ebony) Collins; Three sisters:  Breeanna (Albert) and Ciara Collins, and Sa’miscia Martin; His paternal grandmother, Ella B Collins; His maternal grandfather,  Timothy Capers; His maternal great grandmother, Rosena Lingard; Twelve aunts, which includes two devoted aunts: Cynthia Collins and Viola Collins; Six uncles; Two great uncles; Three great aunts; Three nephews; Two nieces; A  very devoted cousin Nijiy Collins;  A host of other cousins and caring friends.
