On Friday, July 17, 2020, Mother Martha Mariah Kearse-Turmon passed away at the glorious age of 94.
Mother Turmon was the eldest daughter of Nora Boatwright-Kearse and James Allen Kearse, Sr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Children: John Wesley Snipes, Elnora (Eleanor) Turmon, Talmadge Reynard Turmon, Max Turmon, and Thelma Turmon; (2) Sisters: Mary Kearse and Violet Azael Kearse-Gordon; (5) Brothers: Hoover Kearse, Sinclair McClinton Kearse, Fred Kearse, Sr., James Allen Kearse, Jr. and Albert Lee Stevens.
Mother Turmon leaves to cherish fond memories, (5) Children: Lester Fields, Linda R. Turmon-Brown, Larry G. Turmon, Myra D. Turmon and Cray Ronald Turmon; (16) Loving grandchildren; A Host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
