Mother Audrey Grant Mingo, the daughter of the late David and Ether Folk Grant, was born April 6, 1925 in Colleton County, South Carolina.  On August 6, 2020, God called Mother Audrey home.

Audrey was joined in marriage to the late Merlow Mingo; and, to that union four children were born.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Archie Mingo; one brother, David Grant; 5 sisters: Mary, Janie, Evella, Elaine and Ruth; and a loving son-in-law, Joe Lingard.

Mother Audrey Grant Mingo was a faithful member of Lively Stone Temple Apostolic Faith Church, Islandton, South Carolina.  She was baptized in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost on March 23, 1980.  She served in many capacities in the church.  She sang on the Missionary Choir, the Mother’s Board Choir, and was the Mother of the Youth Department.

Her loving memories will be cherished by her loving sister, Minnie Thomas of Walterboro, South Carolina; One daughter, Myrtis Lingard of Varnville, South Carolina; Two sons: Floyd (Frances) Mingo of York, Pennsylvania and Rozy Mingo of Hampton, South Carolina;  One stepdaughter, Polly Woodall of Palmetto, Florida;  Fourteen grands: Joseph Lingard of Hampton, South Carolina, Sherily Davis of Columbus, Georgia, Marilyn Raglon of Columbus, Georgia, David (Pam) Lingard of Hinesville, Georgia, Diane (David) Pressley of Anderson, South Carolina, Rhonda Mingo of Greenville, South Carolina, Chivon (Jermelle) Jenkins of Atlanta, Georgia, Tyson Singletary, Byron Mingo, Jermaine Johnson, Warren Hill, Anthony Mingo and Areenia Mingo, all of York, Pennsylvania, and Tonydelia Murray of Roselle, New Jersey; Thirty-one Great Grands; A special Great-grand raised in her home, Tawanica (Howard) Robinson of Detroit, Michigan; Eighteen great-great grands, A host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and loving friends.
