Reverend Dr. Freddie Lawton, Sr., Eulogist
Regional Moderator for the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in South Carolina

As a result of the current coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and in conjunction with guidance from the Governor for the State of South Carolina as well as the Center for Disease Control (CDC), Washington’s Funeral Home endeavors to promote social distancing as well as the requirement to wear facial masks during the graveside service.  The family thanks you in advance for your prayers and considerations during their time of bereavement and for the days to come.

For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.  II Timothy 4:6-8;
