Deacon Francis Haynes was born on May 26, 1938 to the late Dan and Izola Haynes in Islandton, South Carolina. On Monday, March 1, 2021, our Lord and Savior summoned Deacon Haynes to his eternal home in Glory.

He was educated in the Colleton County, South Carolina public school system. Deacon Haynes held various jobs in logging and farming.

On September 14, 1962, he was joined in Holy Matrimony to the love of his life, Mother Addie B. Haynes, and to this union six children were born. Two of his beloved children preceded him in death.

Deacon Haynes accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into his life and joined the Independent Pentecostal Church of Christ under the leadership of the late Bishop Johnnie Miller, Sr., where he attended faithfully until his death.

He leaves to cherish fond memories: his devoted wife of 58 years, Mother Addie Haynes; three daughters, Naomi (Terence) Johnson, Sherrie Haynes and Tabatha (Curtis) Wilson, all of Nixville, South Carolina; one son, Franklin (Janet) Haynes of Albany, Georgia; one brother, Donald (Brenda) Haynes of  Valdosta, Georgia; two sisters, Mrs. Arlene Murdaugh of New Jersey and Lois (Gerald) White of Miley, South Carolina; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; And a host of nieces, nephews, other  relatives and friends.
