Mrs. Lynette Carrigan, 67, the daughter of the late Verdell Raysor and Lawrence Minus, was born January 27, 1954 in Blackville, South Carolina.  She departed this life Monday, May 3, 2021 at her residence in West Columbia, South Carolina.
 
Lynette was a graduate of Forest Hills High School of Jamaica, New York.  Upon graduation, she relocated to Bellglade, Florida and subsequently returned to West Columbia, South Carolina.
 
She was gainfully employed for twenty-seven (27) years at Heartland Nursing home, from which she retired.
 
Preceding Lynette in death were her mother, Verdell Raysor; father, Lawrence Minus; stepfather, Henry Clay Raysor; a brother, James Lawrence Minus; and a brother-in-law, James Washington.
 
To cherish fond memories of Lynette are her husband, Elliott Carrigan of West Palm Beach, Florida; Her children: Tamira (Harold) Sirmons of Jacksonville, Florida, Telisha Carrigan of Columbia, South Carolina and Lawrencia (DaJuan) Lawrence of West Columbia, South Carolina; siblings: Lawrence Minus, Jr. of Blackville, South Carolina, Willie Minus of Augusta, Georgia, Francia (Michael) Montague of West Columbia, South Carolina, Bernice Minus of West Palm Beach, Florida, Lang Minus of West Palm Beach, Florida, Betty (James) Washington of West Columbia, South Carolina, Gloria Raysor of Rock Hill, South Carolina, Shirley (Terrence) Taylor-Walker of Amityville, New York; Thirteen grands; One great grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
