William Edward Haynes, 48, son of  Ms. Ida Mae Haynes and the late Mr. Eddie Nathaniel Haynes departed this life on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at MUSC Medical Center, Charleston, South Carolina.  William was born February 21, 1973 in Varnville, South Carolina.

He was educated in the public schools of Hampton County, South Carolina.  

Preceding him in death were his maternal and paternal grandparents; One Sister; One Brother; Five aunts; and Four uncles.

To mourn his departure is his mother, Ms. Ida Mae Morris Haynes of Varnville, South Carolina; Three children: Shakalya N. Haynes, Shalaya L. Haynes and Ida Mae Haynes, all of Varnville, South Carolina; A special friend of seventeen years, Tonya O'Banner (along with her children) of Varnville, South Carolina; Three brothers: Steve Haynes, Lewis Haynes, and Antione Haynes, all of Varnville, South Carolina; Four sisters: Jenette Williams of Hampton, South Carolina, Cora Lin Green (Bernard) and Dana Vaughan (Derwent), both of Varnville, South Carolina and Mary Gatson (Jeff) of Ridgeland, South Carolina; Five aunts: Ethel Priester, Nerva Edwards, and Debra Grant, all of Varnville, South Carolina, Gloria Drain of Smoaks, South Carolina, and Lumisha Grant of St. Helena Island, South Carolina; Two uncles: Robert Haynes (Jody) of Varnville, South Carolina and Leonard Grant, Jr. (Mae) of Brooklyn, New York; Eighteen nieces and nephews; Eleven great nieces and nephews; A host of other relatives and caring friends.
