Ms. Earnestine Capers was born June 26, 1948 to the late Mr. Sam Capers, Sr. and Mrs. Martha Elizabeth Capers. She entered eternal life on Thursday, August 26, 2021, at her residence in Hampton, South Carolina.
Earnestine grew up in the Camp Branch Community of Varnville, South Carolina.
She was a 1969 graduate of the former North District Training School of Varnville, South Carolina. She was an employee of the former Ernie’s Restaurant of Estill, South Carolina and Hampton Elementary School of Hampton, South Carolina. Later in life, Earnestine became a magnificent caregiver for over twenty years, until her health failed.
She confessed Christ at an early age as a member of Antioch Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, Varnville, South Carolina. Earnestine served the body of Christ faithfully for years as a member of the Antioch Mass Choir and the Antioch Senior Choir.
Preceding her in death was her father, Mr. Sam Capers, Sr.
She leaves to cherish fond memories her loving mother, Mrs. Martha Elizabeth Capers of the Camp Branch Community of Varnville, South Carolina; (2) Children: Patrina (Cliffton) Smith of Hardeeville, South Carolina and Ms. Tiffany Capers of Hampton, South Carolina; (4) Grandchildren: Myesha, Denesia and Taleija Capers and Trayvon Collins; One great grandchild, Kinsley Scott; (6) Siblings: Sam (Ruthie) Capers, Jr. of Point South, South Carolina, Margaret (Minister Israel) Hughee, George Capers, and Gail Smart, all of the Camp Branch Community of Varnville, South Carolina, Gloria Parish of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and Poncie (Sharon) Capers of Ridgeland, South Carolina; Adopted brothers: Wrenoski and Andre Williams; (2) Aunts: Helen and Retha Hamilton, both of Varnville, South Carolina; (2) Uncles: Marion Hamilton of Sylvania, Georgia and Otis (Edna) Hamilton of Varnville, South Carolina; A devoted friend, Eric Edwards; Other friends: Alfredia Crews and Jack Banks; A special brother-in-law, Toby Smart; (3) Godchildren: Deshell and Phillip Hamilton and Devin Hosendove; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
