Mrs. Jannie Lee Duckett,  63, of the Sandridge Community of Varnville, South Carolina entered into rest on Monday, February 1, 2021, after a brief illness at Colleton Regional Medical Center, Walterboro, South Carolina.   She was born October 22, 1957 in Hampton, South Carolina to the late Mr. Matthew Campbell and Mrs. Marjorie Lingard Campbell.
 
Jannie was educated in the public schools of Hampton County, South Carolina, a student of the former North District Training School.  As a youth, Jannie joined the Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church of Varnville, South Carolina.
She was married to Mr.Alec Breland.  This union was blessed with two sons, Alec Breland, Jr. and Tony Breland.  She later married Mr. Victor Duckett.  One son was born to this union, Mr. Ghazi Duckett, who preceded her in death. 
Jannie loved to sing and model.  She cared for her sons and family dearly.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents one son were one sister, Mrs. Louise Patterson; and two brothers, Mr. Marvin Campbell and Deacon John Henry Campbell.
 She leaves to cherish her memories two sons: Mr. Alec Breland (Kawan) of Walterboro, South Carolina and Mr. Tony Breland (Lashanda) of Hardeeville, South Carolina.  She was a loving grandmother of eight grandchildren: Dakaja, Alysia, Jeremiah, Jareese, Dayvon, Jaliyah, Justice and Marley; Her siblings: Evangelist Ella Woods of Warner Robbins, Georgia, Ms. Edith Campbell of Brooklyn, New York, Ms. Clara Campbell of Yemassee, South Carolina, Mr. Terry Grant of Walterboro, South Carolina, Mr. Frankie Campbell (Johnette) of Varnville, South Carolina and Mr. Lester Campbell of Brooklyn, New York; One aunt, Mother Myrtis Lingard, of Varnvlle, South Carolina; A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and caring friends.
