Bishop Talmadge Wiggins, Eulogist

As a result of the current coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and in conjunction with guidance from the Governor for the State of South Carolina as well as the Center for Disease Control (CDC), Washington’s Funeral Home endeavors to promote social distancing as well as the requirement to wear facial masks during the graveside service.

The Riley Family asks that you refrain from visitations at the home but rather lift them up in prayer. In behalf of the Riley Family, thank you in advance.

Jamond Keith Riley, affectionately known as "Mon/Monsta" by family and friends, was born September 18,1978 in Hampton, South Carolina.  Our Heavenly Father called him home to rest on Saturday January 02, 2021.

Jamond was a graduate of Wade Hampton High School in Varnville, South Carolina. He was a very loving, caring, hardworking, and adventurous person who “flew by the seat of his pants”.  His outspoken and charming personality brightened up any room.  Jamond cared deeply about his family.  It did not matter who or where you were, he always showed love. His vibrant spirit and bubbly personality will be definitely missed.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Charlotte and Frank Toomer Jr. and a loving sister, Shontia L. Riley.

Loving memories will be cherished by his parents: Sharon Rice (Jesse) of Varnville, SC and Raford Toomer of Wyandanch, NY; his maternal grandparents: Deacon Sam and Evangelist Iva Capers of Hampton, SC; One sister, Kimberly Riley of Varnville, SC; Three brothers: Raford Toomer Jr. and Reginald Toomer, both of Wyandanch, NY and Jesse Rice, Jr. of Varnville, SC; Four nieces and one nephew whom he held close to his heart: Teyona Jones of Fort Irwin, CA, Larel Carter, Kimora Graham, Skyla Fennell, and Gregory Wilson all of Varnville, SC; One special friend, Raymond Williams of Springtown, SC; A host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and sympathizing friends.
