Shontia La'Trell Riley, affectionately known as "Tay" by her family and friends, was born February 12, 1981 in Hampton, South Carolina. Our Heavenly Father called her home to rest on Saturday, July 18, 2020. 

Shontia completed her education and graduated from Wade Hampton High School in Varnville, South Carolina. She was currently attending the Institute of Medical and Business Careers.

Shontia was a very loving, caring, and devoted mother and friend. She wore her heart on her sleeve and would extend a helping hand to anyone without hesitation. Her determined spirit and bubbly personality will truly be missed. 

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Lewis and Frankie Mae Riley. 

Loving memories will be cherished by her parents: Sharon Rice (Jesse) and Johnny Riley (Shirley) of Varnville, South Carolina; Her maternal grandparents,  Deacon  Sam and Evangelist Iva Capers of Hampton, South Carolina; Three daughters: Teyona Jones of Fort Irwin, California, Larel Carter and Skyla Fennell, both of Varnville, South Carolina; One son, Gregory Wilson of Varnville, South Carolina; One sister,  Kimberly Riley of Varnville, South Carolina; Five brothers: Reginald Sanders and Terrance Sanders, both of  Miami, Florida, Jamond Riley and Jesse Rice Jr. both of Varnville, South Carolina and Justin Miley of Columbia, South Carolina; One bonus daughter, Kimora Graham of Varnville South Carolina; A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and sympathizing friends.
