As a result of the current coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and in conjunction with orders from the Govenor for the State of South Carolina, we endeavor to promote social distancing, as well as limit the number of persons during each view.  We ask that you would, after viewing, sign the guest book and leave.  This will allow others the opportunity to view as well.  Please no gathering afterwards.  The Williams Family thanks you in advance for your prayers and considerations during this difficult time.

Celebration of Life
Private

To everything, there is a season....
A time to be born:
Mother Bessie Lee Williams was born April 10, 1922, in Reidsville, Georgia to the late John and Maude Sharpe Reid.

A time to die:
She entered eternal rest on Monday, April 6, 2020 at Atrium Health Cabarrus, Concord, North Carolina.

A time to plant:
Mother Bessie Lee Williams was a member of Harmonia Missionary Baptist Church, Camp Branch Community of Varnville, South Carolina.  She was joined in matrimony to the late Mr. Frank Williams, Sr.  To this union, three children were born: Mary Lee Davis (John) of Concord, North Carolina who preceded her in death; Frank Williams, Jr. (Patricia) of Spring Valley, California, Ezekiel Cylde Williams (Evon) of the Camp Branch Community of Varnville, South Carolina, and Grace Marie Williams of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

One sister, Viola Pierce of Varnville, South Carolina; One sister-in-law, Katie Mae O’Leary Pittman of Washington, D.C.; One brother, Sam Reid of Augusta, Georgia;  Her grandchildren: Crystal Milan of Brooklyn, New York, Oluwanjoko Williams of Kannapolis, North Carolina, India Williams of Concord, North Carolina, Deirdre L. George, Tierra M. Williamson (George) of Brooklyn, New York, Terell M. Williams of Spring Valley, California, Circara Nadia Williams of Brooklyn, New York, Nayanna Nicole Williams-Jones (Jason) of Cleveland, Ohio, Shakyna Williams of Bronx, New York, Shelia Johnson of Brunswick, Georgia, Tina Williams, Tracey Williams and Delvin Williams, all of Beaufort County, and Selena Williams of Brunswick, Georgia.

A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and caring friends.

A time to pluck up that which is planted:
With long life have I satisfied her.  The legacy of Mother Bessie Lee Williams will remain in the hearts and minds of her family and those who knew her.
