MRS. EULA MAE MINGO-HENDERSON

Image:
Sister Eula Mae Henderson answered the call of her Master; she was relieved from her labor to receive her reward and gain eternal rest during the morning of February 27th, 2024. Born in Bamberg County on August 2nd, 1954, Eula Mae was third of four daughters born to the late Bro. Urias Mingo and the late Mrs. Lucille (Shephard) Mingo.

Sister Eula Mae grew up in the Ehrhardt Community and attended the public schools of Bamberg County. She is a 1972 graduate of Bamberg - Ehrhardt High School, Bamberg, SC. At an early age, she dedicated her life to Christ and became a member of the Rizer Chapel United Methodist Church where her life-long love of service and dedication began. Over the years, Sister Eula Mae held multiple positions within Rizer Chapel UMC for as long as her health would allow. Her service to the body of Christ included: lead choir member, financial secretary, and a member of the United Women of Faith.

Sister Eula Mae was married to her dearly departed husband, Clarence Henderson, Jr., on December 18th, 1981. They lived in the Camp Branch Community of Varnville, S. C. where they created countless memories together. They never hesitated to share their unconditional love, life lessons, colossal laughs, or their food with the ones that they loved most! Aside from making the Best RED VELVET CAKE in this entire world, Eula Mae was also employed by Fennell Elementary School, Hampton County School District, from which she retired after over 30 years of dedicated service.

Sister Eula Mae leaves to cherish her memories:  (3) Sisters:  Willie Dell (Arthur, Sr.) Folks, Bernice (Horace, Jr.) Raysor, and Vermell Mingo, all of Bamberg, S.C.;  (3) Sisters-in-law: Margie Riddle, Evangelist Shirley (Ernie, Sr.) Washington, and Paquillo Henderson, all of Varnville, S.C.;  (2) Brothers-in-law:  Bernard Henderson, Varnville, S.C., and Reverend Barrien D.
