The Obituary of
Mrs. Elease J. Glover
On Friday, April 19, 2024 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital, Beaufort, South Carolina, our beloved Elease B. Johnson Glover departed this life after being called home by our Heavenly Father to rest.
Elease B. Johnson Glover was born on April 16, 1942 in Hampton County, South Carolina to the late Mr. John Percy Johnson and Mrs. Minnie Hay Johnson.
At an early age, she joined Greater Cherry Grove Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, Brunson, South Carolina and later became a member of United Love Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, Fairfax, South Carolina.  Elease loved the Lord and served on the Usher Board and sang with the choir.
She worked as a sewing machine operator for many years in Allendale County, South Carolina.  She was employed as a machine operator at Atlantic Industries in Hardeeville, South Carolina until she retired.
Elease dedicated her life to caring for her husband, children, and grandchildren.  She enjoyed fishing, planting in her garden and watching her favorite TV shows: Gunsmoke, Magnum PI, Cheyenne, and the Daytime Stories.
Elease was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, Berness L. Glover, Sr.; (3) Sisters: Lora Jean Green, Sarah Moore, and Gladys M. Sanders; (3) Brothers: John E. Johnson, James W. Johnson, Sr., and Robert Johnson; (2) Grandchildren: TJ Pryor and Rodney Glover; a great grandson, Tydarius Garvin who is now walking with her in Glory Land.
Elease leaves to cherish fond memories her children: Leonard Johnson (Wilhemena), Elease Williams (Toby), Mernice Savage (Donald), Vernet Pryor (Minister Tyrone), and Berness Glover, Jr. "BJ"; (1) Sister, Dorothy L. Williams; (1) Sister-in-law, Mary Johnson; (15) Grands: Swaldelia Glover, "Penny" reared in the home and Rodnessa Ellis "Bubbles", a special caregiver; (28) Great Grands which includes Miliki and Infinity Butler reared in the home; (3) Great great-grands; A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and loving friends.
