SSGT James Earle Grant was born December 21, 1939 in Spartanburg, South Carolina to the late Mr. William Foy Grant and Mrs. Oice F. Grant. He died Monday, March 2, 2015 at his residence in Estill, South Carolina.
He served his country, enlisting in the United States Marine Corps from which he received an honorable discharge from service. SSGT Grant was a purple heart recipient.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Janice L. Grant, other relatives and friends.
