In light of the sorrow in our hearts, it is with humble submission and reverence, that we accept the will of God.  God's will was that it was time for "Angie" to take her rest and sleep until she awakes to receive her reward in Heaven.

Angela Sanders Simmons, the daughter of the late Harold and Mamie Graham Sanders, was born in Allendale County, South Carolina, on August 14, 1963.  Angela was educated in the public schools of Allendale County.

At an early age, she joined the family church, Gillette Baptist Church, Luray, South Carolina until the Lord led her to become a member of The House of God, Estill, South Carolina, under the leadership of Elder Jackie Taylor.  She served faithfully for over twenty-eight (28) years.  Angie had a passion for decorating and was a very proud grandmother of eight darling children,  Each was her pride and joy.  Angie was a very lively and energetic individual who kept the laughter flowing whenever she was present.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Harold and Mamie Sanders; a brother, Willie Sanders; a sister, Marie Sanders Bowman; a grandson, Rome Sanders; and her mother-in-law, Jimmie Lee Williams.
