Reflections of Her Life

Ms. Virginia Ann Garvin, 55, was called from earthly toils by her Maker on Monday, July 27, 2015 while at Hampton Regional Medical Center, Varnville, South Carolina. She was born October 8, 1959, the ninth and last sibling of Mrs. Charlotte Virginia DeLoach-Garvin and the late Mr. Aaron Garvin, Sr. Born in Pueblo, Colorado, she lived all of her life in Pueblo before moving to South Carolina two years ago.
At an early age, Virginia gave her life to Christ and became a member of New Bethany Baptist Church, Pueblo, Colorado. At New Bethany, she served the body of Christ as an Usher, gladly welcoming members and visitors into the House of the Lord.
Virginia was educated in the Pueblo, Colorado public school system. Upon graduating from high school, Virginia enrolled in the University of Colorado, Bolder Colorado. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications.
Virginia was employed by Ross Perot Publishing Company of Denver, Colorado for more than twenty years. At Ross Perot, she received honorable recognition for her service to the company.
After relocating to Pineland, South Carolina, Virginia continued her service and commitment to the Lord in attendance at 2nd Thankful Baptist Church, Pineland, South Carolina and Padgett Branch Baptist Church, Greys, South Carolina.
Preceding her in death in addition to her father was her brother, John Charles Garvin.
To mourn her departure and cherish memories are her mother, Ms. Charlotte V. Garvin of Pineland, South Carolina; (7) Siblings: Aaron Garvin, Jr. of Denver, Colorado, Carolyn Garvin-Lopez of Jacksonville, Florida, Lottie B. J. Garvin of Pineland, South Carolina, Carey Garvin (Verna) of Pineland, South Carolina, Vernetta Garvin of Pineland, South Carolina, Frederick Garvin of Tucson, Arizona, and Johnny Ray Garvin of New Jersey; (2) Aunts: Ms. Rebecca Ready of Pineland, South Carolina and Ms. Annie Lee Ready of Williamsport, Pennsylvania; (1) Uncle, Mr. Edward Garvin (Estelle) of Macon, Georgia; Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and caring friends.
