Mrs. Virginia N. DeLoach received our Savior’s summon and succumbed to an eternal bliss on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at University Hospital, Augusta, Georgia.

Mrs. Virginia N. DeLoach was born September 15, 1932 in Hampton County, South Carolina.  She was the daughter of the late John Willis Newton and Millie Anderson Newton.  She was educated in the public schools of Hampton County.  She worked for Stiles-Harper Nursing Home of Estill, South Carolina, from which she retired after working many years.

At an early age, Mrs. Virginia N. DeLoach became a member of Good Hope Baptist Church, Estill, South Carolina where she served as mother of the usher board.

Mrs. Virginia N. DeLoach devoted most of her life helping those who were less fortunate.  She believed in being honest, kind, giving, and most importantly, a servant of God.  She was known to her family and friends as “Skin”.  There was no battle or cause too mighty or frivolous for this servant of man and God.

Mrs. Virginia N. DeLoach, in 1954, was united in marriage to the late Jack J. DeLoach.

To cherish many fond memories, she is survived by: Two Sons, Tyrone (Bernice) DeLoach of Aiken, South Carolina and Reverend Mikel A. (Cheila) DeLoach of Wesley Chapel, Florida; Four Daughters: Lauretta D. Gordon and Gail D. DeVore, both of Augusta, Georgia, Panella (Henry) Myrick of Hephzibah, Georgia, and Cathleen Parker of Fayetteville, North Carolina; Twelve Grandchildren: Veverlyn (Casey), Daphne, Rodell (Brittany), Rudonsey (Syneke), Selwyn (Christie), Jaqwelle, Shelby, Kayla, Keven, Sean, Stacy, and Monique; Fourteen Great-Grandchildren; Four Sisters:  Dora Singleton of Lena, South Carolina, Rosa Telfor of Elizabeth, New Jersey, Earline Scott of Ridgeland, South Carolina, and Millie Solomon (Edward) of Baltimore, Maryland; Four Sisters-in-law; Lillie Newton and Helen Newton, both of Estill, South Carolina, Rebecca Ready and Charlotte Garvin, both of Pineland, South Carolina; Numerous other relatives and friends.
