Brother Walter Frazier, 92, son of the late Mr. James Frazier and Mrs. Janie Dyson Frazier, was born June 22, 1924 in Canadys, South Carolina.  He transitioned from this life on Monday, August 23, 2016 at Hampton Regional Medical Center, Varnville, South Carolina. 

He was educated in the public schools of Colleton County, South Carolina.  Walter enlisted in the United States Army in 1944 from which he was honorably discharged.  Commendations awarded to him were:  American Area Camp Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Camp Medal, and World War II Victory Medal. 

In 1959, Mr. Walter Frazier relocated to Florida.  It was there he lived most of his adult life.   In 2016, He returned to his native home of South Carolina under care of his niece, Mrs. Annie Stevens Ramey.  He became a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, Hampton, South Carolina. 

Along with his parents, five siblings preceded him in death: Ms. Dora Stevens, Ms. Clara Davis, Ms. Odd Lee, Ms. Evelina Frazier, and Mr. C. T. Frazier. 

To cherish his memories are nieces and nephews to include: A devoted niece and caregiver, Mrs. Annie Stevens Ramey, Mr. Carl Stevens, Mrs. Mary Ann Walker, and Deacon Henry Stevens (Loretta), all of Hampton, South Carolina, Mr. Fred Stevens, Mr. Clarence Stevens, and Mr. David Stevens, all of Charleston, South Carolina, Ms. Leola Mayo, Ms. Edna Holloman, and Mr. Frank Frazier, all of Miami, Florida; A host of other relatives and friends, which includes a special friend, Pastor Aiken Ruth of Varnville, South Carolina.
