Mr. Nathan E. Lee Clark was born on May 1, 1933 to the late Mr. Sam and Mrs. Shaddie Clark in Jasper County, South Carolina.  “Nathan” was affectionately known as Lee to everyone.  On December 25, 2016, God sent His angels to claim His very own.

As a self-educated man, Lee was a jack of all trades.  He had a passion for a variety of things, baseball being one of his favorite pastimes. Lee was a contractor for V. C. Vitanza and Sons Plumbing Company.  He and his brothers owned and operated a bus company called Clark Transportation.  He also owned a mechanic shop called Clark’s Garage at 2052 Bergen Street, where he worked on all kinds of vehicles.  During his busy life, Lee loved to serve the Lord so much that in the 1970’s he founded a gospel group called The Mighty Sensational Six.  Later they were renamed to The Expression of Faith.

Lee loved life and lived it to his fullest.  He was a candid man, the type of person that made you feel like you always had someone on your side with that big heart he had.

Lee will be truly missed.

Lee was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers; one sister; one son, Sam Clark; one grandson, Darryl Smith; one great grandson, Nikari Graham.

Lee leaves to celebrate his life: (7) Sons, Nathan Jr., Kenneth, Daryl, Maurice, and Bernard Clark Eugene Cornelius and Johnathan Simmons; (5) Daughters: Janell Griffith, Vanessa Jordan, and Regina Clark, Adrienne Vickers, and Laticia Hardoman; (6) Daughters-in-law; (32) Grandchildren; (42) Great Grandchildren; (6) Great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
