Life Reflections

Deacon Frankie Lee Morris was born in Hampton County, South Carolina to the late Mr. Hallie Morris and Mrs. Trudy Mae Morris on June 19, 1941.  He was called from earth labor to reward on Friday, December 30, 2016 at his residence in Varnville, South Carolina. 

Deacon Frankie Lee Morris was educated in the public schools of Hampton County, South Carolina. 

He was a faithful member of Christ Deliverance Temple of God located in Varnville, South Carolina.  Deacon Morris accepted the Lord on February 10, 1995 and was baptized soon thereafter under the leadership of the late Elder Roscoe Grant. 

Deacon Frankie Lee Morris was a retired employee of the Town of Varnville, South Carolina.  He was an excellent provider for his family. 

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Ms. Yolanda C. Morris; a sister, Ms. Lilly M. Morris; (2) Nephews: Mr. Willie S. Olden, Jr. and Mr. Johnny L. Singletary; and a grandson, Mr. Aaron Morris. 

His loving memories will be cherished by his devoted wife, Missionary Plandy Morris of the home; (3) Sons: Deacon Clifton Morris, Minister Frankie O’Neil Morris, and Mr. Dwaine Morris, all of Varnville, South Carolina; (2) Grandsons reared in the home: Montez Morris and Marcus Morris;  (8) Grandchildren: Sherrill Morris, Clifton Uwe Morris, Stephon Morris, Khalil Morris, Josalyn Morris, Jayden Morris, Shania Morris, and Shavon Morris;  (3) Great grandchildren: Cherish Sarjeant, Lasuan Johnson, and Lyric Johnson; (2) Brothers: Deacon Olden Morris (Evangelist Gloria) of Islandton, South Carolina, and Mr. Willie D. Morris of Augusta, Georgia; (2) Sisters: Mrs. Rosa Lee Smalls (Deacon Junior Lee) of Varnville, South Carolina, and Ms. Mary Ann Morris of Brooklyn, New York; His mother-in-law: Ms. Corine Tyler of Varnville, South Carolina;  (3) Daughters-in-law: Mrs. Mary Morris, Mrs. Jessica Morris, and Mrs. Mandy Gooding, all of Varnville, South Carolina; (7) Sisters-in-law: Mrs. Rosemary Davis and Mrs. Carolyn Wright, both of Ridgeland, South Carolina, Mrs. Edna Folk (John) of Atlanta, Georgia, Mrs. Connie Yideyan Denrockeen of Jerusalem, Mrs. Estelle Onorato of Atlanta, Georgia, Mrs. Vermell Morris of Estill, South Carolina, and Mrs. Rosa Morris of Allendale, South Carolina;  (2) Brothers-in-law: Mr. Eric Tyler of Varnville, South Carolina, and Mr. John Patterson of California;  (2) Aunts: Mrs. Christine Freeman (Bob) of Newburg New York, and Mrs. Sadie Grant (Norris) of Varnville, South Carolina; (1) Uncle, Mr. Harry Mole (Doris) of Islandton, South Carolina; A very devoted cousin, Minister Jay Lee Jenkins; Like a daughter: Mrs. Staphne Wing, and Mrs. Annette Grant; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
