Sister Lola M. Robinson, daughter of the late James Fields and Clara Cooper Fields, received the Heavenly call to rest on Friday, September 13, 2019 while at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center, Okaloosa County, Fort Walton Beach, Florida.  She was born July 9, 1946 in Statesboro, Georgia. 

Lola, as she was affectionately called, was a 1967 graduate of William James High School. 

On February 13, 1971, she married the love of her life, the late Andrew Robinson; this union was blessed with two children.  Shortly thereafter, she became a member of Harmonia Missionary Baptist Church, Varnville, South Carolina. 

Lola was a gentle and kind spirited individual whose smile and laugh radiated her surroundings.  She loved children, adopting and nurturing the neighborhood children as hers! 

To cherish her memories are a daughter, Shmeala R.  (Roger) Linder of  Mary Esther, Florida; A son, Andre (Pastor Sharome) Robinson of Hampton, South Carolina; An adopted son, Torre Williams of Hampton, South Carolina; An adopted daughter, Angela Moore of Fayetteville, North Carolina; Six grandchildren: Deja Bowman, of Columbia, South Carolina, Drevon Robinson, Kayonna Robinson and Drevion Robinson, and Natassia Aiken, all of Varnville, South Carolina, and Ryan Linder of the home; Three great grandchildren: Amari Joyner, Harmony Lewis and Zharia Lewis; Four sisters: Ronnie Mae Hill Reed of Statesboro, Georgia, Gussie Mae (Artis) Cobb of Brooklet, Georgia, Juanita (Andrew) Melvin of Atlanta, Georgia and Mary Ann (Amos) Stowbridge of Statesboro, Georgia; Five sisters-in-law: Eleanor (Holly) Collins, Loretta (Jimmy) Mixson, Evangelist Verta Thompson, all of Varnville, South Carolina, Brenda Gordon of Lancaster, South Carolina and Donna Doctor of Virginia Beach, Virginia; One brother-in-law, Marvin (Gail) Buckner of Varnville, South Carolina; Three god-children: Victor (Kin) Doctor, Tony (Debra) White and Anthony (Latoya) Robinson; Numerous other relatives and caring friends.
