Mr. Earl Robinson Sr., son of the late Isaac and Louell Robinson, was born September 28, 1937 in Varnville, South Carolina. He departed this life on June 19, 2019 at his residence in Varnville, South Carolina, surrounded by family.

The last remaining sibling, “Earl” was preceded in death by six sisters: Virginia Buckner, Maggie Boles, Inez Grant, Elouise Williams, Lillie Bell Hill and Lois Murray; and three brothers: Randolph Robinson, Herbert Robinson, Sr., and Isaac Robinson Jr.    

Earl attended the Hampton County Public School System. He retired as a well-respected butcher of Hampton County. He was a member of the Harmonia Missionary Baptist Church, Varnville, South Carolina where he faithfully served on the Harmonia Senior Choir until his health failed.

On August 4, 1956 he wedded the late Mrs. Barbara Elizabeth Coates Robinson, whom he cherished fifty plus years of marital bliss.

Two sons preceded him in death: Mr. Earl Robinson, Jr. and a precious little baby boy; Two daughters preceded him in death: Ms. Earline Robinson and Ms. Allison Robinson.

He leaves to cherish fond memories his children: One son, Mr. Sammuel Benjamin Robinson of the home; Two daughters: Ms. Retha Ann Robinson of Sacramento, California and Ms. Carolyn Louella Robinson of the home; Three grandchildren: Ms. Sheresa Kemp (Lonnie) and Ms. Shaneisha Kemp, both of Sacramento, California and Mr. Earl Robinson III (Genet) of Kuwait; Seven great-grandchildren: Ms. Alahna Horne, Ms. Sariyah Horne, Mr. Lonnie Horne IV, and Mr. Taurus Horne all of Sacramento, California and Mr. Tre’Vonn Robinson and Mr. Trenton Robinson, both of Scotia, South Carolina, and Mr. Mathew Robinson of Kuwait. Two adopted great godchildren: Mr. Jasheem Brown and Ms. Simone Ruth, both of Ocala, Florida; A host of loyal and dedicated nieces which includes Mrs. Loretta Mixson, Mrs. Gail Buckner and Ms. Cynthia Green; And devoted nephews, which includes Mr. Marvin Buckner; Cousins, and friends.  Special thanks to Ms. Annie Stevens, Officer Michael Smith, Amedisys Hospice and Dr. Buck Harvey & Staff.
