Sister Tescora Williams, daughter of the late Dave Williams and Eva Wright Williams, was born April 19. 1932 in Varnville, Hampton County, South Carolina.  She was called from earth’s toils on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at Trident Medical Center, North Charleston, South Carolina. 

She was educated in the public school system of Colleton County, South Carolina.  Additional studies were completed at Voorhees College, Denmark, South Carolina. 

At an early age, Tescora Williams joined Harmonia Missionary Baptist Church, Varnville, South Carolina. 

“Tes”, as she was fondly known, enjoyed gardening, watching TV, cooking, and talking on the phone.  She was also known for catching rides with her sisters to shop! 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Harold Dunbar, Onnie Lee Williams, and Rayfield Williams; and one sister, Ada Mae Williams. 

To mourn her departure and cherish fond memories are her children: Ricky Williams and Sylvia Stokes (Willie) of the Camp Branch Community of Varnville, South Carolina; Two sisters: Evelena Terry (Lester) of Syracuse, New York and Ethel Johnson of Early Branch, South Carolina; Her grandchildren: Mercedes Stokes of Pooler, Georgia, Willie Stokes, Jr. and Roger Chaneyfield, both of Varnville, South Carolina; Great grandchildren: Aubrey Brooks of Pooler, Georgia, Jaden Stokes of Columbia, South Carolina, and Jaylah of Columbia, South Carolina; A host of devoted nieces, devoted nephews, other relatives, and sympathizing friends.
