Mrs. Richardlean Moore, daughter of the late Mrs. Millie Collins and Mr. Richard Collins, Sr., departed this life Sunday, April 14, 2013 at the Hospice of Charleston Center, Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.  She was born in Hampton County, South Carolina on April 22, 1934.

Mrs. Moore was educated in the public school system of Hampton County, South Carolina.  As a youth, she gave her life to Christ, becoming a baptized member of Samaritan Missionary Baptist Church of Varnville, South Carolina.  Mrs. Richardlean Moore served the body of Christ as a faithful Senior Choir Member.

She was a retired employee of Hampton School District One (Hampton Elementary School) where she worked for twenty five years.  She was affectionately called “Momma Lean” by many who knew and loved her nurturing spirit.

She was married to the late Mr. Ernest Moore; and this union was blessed with seven children.  Preceding her in death in addition to her parents are: one daughter, Mrs. Charlene Davis; three brothers and two sisters.

To mourn her home going and cherish loving memories are: (4) Daughters: Evangelist Georgia Mole (O’neal) and Evelyn Wrice (Reginald), all of Islandton, South Carolina, Sarah Moore of Atlanta, Georgia and Evangelist Frances Jenkins of Varnville, South Carolina; (2) Sons: Minister Ernest Moore, Jr. of Orlando, Florida and Norris Moore of Tampa, Florida; (1) Grandson reared in the home, Tommy Moore of Tokyo, Japan; (1) Son-in-law, Larry Davis; (2) Brothers: English Collins (Margaret) of Hampton, South Carolina and William Collins, Sr., of Varnville, South Carolina; (20) Grandchildren; (26) Great grandchildren; (3) God-children: Deacon James Jackson, Ms. Vivian Newton, and Mrs. Louise Grant, all of Varnville, South Carolina; A devoted sister-in-law, Ms. Sarah Hunt of Varnville, South Carolina and Ms. Rosena Lingard of Varnville, South Carolina;  A host of devoted nieces and nephews, particularly niece and nephew Allean Collins and Daniel Collins; Other relatives and friends, which includes a devoted cousin, Mrs. Ida Williams; and  devoted friends Mrs. Maggie Smith and Ms. Juanita Hicks.
