Varnville -- Mr. Gary J. Lannon, 58, formerly of Clinton, WI, died Tuesday, July 16, 2013 in his home after a four year battle with cancer.  He was born May 14, 1955 in Beloit, WI, the son of Donald and Shirley (Higgins) Lannon.  Gary attended Clinton High School, class of 1973.  He worked for Custom Welding and later for the Beloit Corporation as a welder before moving to South Carolina to work for Hoocum Mechanical Contractors.  Gary recently retired from HMC when his health started to fail.  H enjoyed working on cars and fishing during his free time.

He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Lannon.

He is survived by (2) Daughters, Rachel (Jesus) Alvarez of Beloit, WI and their three children: Adrianna, Malena, and Christian; and Dana (Joseph) Giese of South Elgin and their children: Sydni & Carter; His mother, Shirley Lannon of Clinton, WI; the mother of his children, Susan (Steve) Rahberg of Clinton; (4) Brothers: Michael (Rebecca) Lannon of Hockley, TX, John (Carla) Lannon of Shopiere, Thomas (Sherry) Lannon of Mesa, AZ and William (Carolyn) Lannon of Clinton;  He is further survived by Mary Deloach of Varnville, S. C.; his ex-wife, Judy Taylor of Beloit, WI and her daughter, Misty (Chad) Crosby of Beloit; An aunt, Irene Perkins; Many nieces and nephews and friends.
