On Sunday, March 30, 2014, at Hampton Regional Medical Center, God called our beloved Etta Mae Haynes Fennell from earth toils to reward. She was born January 17, 1964 to Ms. Ida Mae Haynes and the late Mr. Eddie Haynes.

Etta was educated in the public schools of Hampton County, South Carolina.  At an young age, she became a member of Antioch Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, Varnville, South Carolina.

Preceding her in death are: her father; her maternal and paternal grandparents; (5) aunts; and (3) uncles.

To cherish the memories of Etta are three children: Paige Fennell, John Fennell, and Tyler Fennell, all of Hampton, South Carolina; Her mother, Ms. Ida Mae Haynes of Varnville, South Carolina; Her companion of seventeen years, Mr. Eugene Garvin of Hampton, South Carolina; (4) Brothers: Steve Haynes, William Haynes, Lewis Haynes, and Antione Haynes, all of Varnville, South Carolina; (4) Sisters: Jenette Williams of Hampton, South Carolina; Cora Lin Green (Bernard) of Varnville, South Carolina, Mary Gatson (Jeff) of Ridgeland, South Carolina and Dana Vaughan (Derwent) of Varnville, South Carolina; (5) Grandchildren, all of Estill, South Carolina; (5) Aunts: Ethel Priester, Nerva Edwards (Jimmy), and Debra Grant, all of Varnville, South Carolina, Lumisha Grant of  St. Helena Island, South Carolina, and Gloria Drain of Smoaks, South Carolina; (3) Uncles: Robert Haynes and Willie James Grant (Bernease), all of Varnville, South Carolina and Leonard Grant, Jr. of Brooklyn, New York; (13) Nieces and nephews; Other relatives and caring friends.
