                                           The Legacy of Ms. Carnelle Brown
Ms. Carnelle Brown, affectionately known as “Connie”, 52, of Columbia, South Carolina was born on November 20, 1970, to Ms. Emma S. Brown and the late Mr. Caldwell Brown.  Carnelle transitioned to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 11, 2023, while inpatient at Lexington Medical Center, Lexington, South Carolina. 

She attended the public schools of Blackville, South Carolina where she was a graduate of the Class of 1989, Blackville Hilda High School, Blackville, South Carolina.  Upon graduation, Connie enrolled in the Kenneth Shuler Cosmetology School located in Orangeburg, South Carolina.  She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church of Blackville, South Carolina. 
Carnelle was gainfully employed in the health care industry for many years. 

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son, Travin Kearse. 

To mourn her home going and cherish her memories are: her mother, Emma Brown of Blackville, South Carolina; (1) Son, DeAndre Brown of Douglasville, Georgia; (2) Daughters: Dana & Deana Kearse, both of Columbia, South Carolina; (2) Sisters: Vernette (Randy) Feggans of Douglasville, Georgia and Shawnte Brown of Blackville, South Carolina; (3) Brothers: Tyrone Stroman of Berlin, New Jersey, Travis Johnson of Barnwell, South Carolina and Lamont Brown of Daytona Beach, Florida; (10) Grandchildren; (12) Aunts: Mattie Snipes and Shirley Hunter, both of Williston, South Carolina, Mary Salley, Margaret Tyler, Rutha Watford, Brenda Brown and Linda (Derrick) Jones, and JoAnne (Chris) Izlar, all of Blackville, South Carolina; Betty Gathers and  Jessie Mae Davis, both of Barnwell, South Carolina; Jackie (James) Chambers of Columbia, South Carolina; and Marion Brown of Brooklyn, New York; (1) Uncle, James Salley of Blackville, South Carolina. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and caring friends.
