Mr. Bobby Lee Grant, son of the late Mrs. Annie Mary Edwards and the late Mr. Freddie Grant, Sr., was born in Hampton County, South Carolina, August 24, 1954.  He departed this life on Thursday morning, November 16th at Colleton Regional Medical Center, Walterboro, South Carolina.
 
At an early age, Bobby confessed Christ and joined Samaritan Missionary Baptist Church of Varnville, South Carolina.  At Samaritan Baptist Church, he served faithfully on the Male Chorus until his health declined.  He was also a member of the Mighty Imposters of Varnville, South Carolina.
 
He was a graduate of Wade Hampton High School, Varnville, South Carolina; and the Technical College of the Lowcountry located in Varnville, South Carolina.
 
He met and married the former Ms. Brenda Green on December 23rd, 1978.  They were blessed with three daughters: Kirsten, Daphne, and Tanisha.
 
Bobby retired from Carsonite Industries of Varnville, South Carolina. 
 
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents were two brothers: Ronnie Joe Grant and Dwight Smith.
 
To mourn his homegoing and cherish loving memories are his wife, Brenda Grant of the home; Daughters: Kirsten, Daphne, and Tanisha (Juan) Martinez, all of Varnville, South Carolina; A bonus daughter, Leslie Williams of Atlanta, Georgia; One son, Terrell Williams of Varnville, South Carolina; One brother, Deacon Freddie (Annette) Grant, Jr. of Varnville, South Carolina; Aunts: Thelma Smith, Gail (Marvin) Buckner, and Annie Smith, all of Varnville, South Carolina; Sadie Green of Estill, South Carolina, and Louise Dunbar of Hampton, South Carolina; An uncle, William Robinson of Savannah, Georgia; Sisters-in-law: Johnnie Mae Green, Mazie Frazier, and Diane Williams, all of Varnville, South Carolina, JoAnn Grant of Hampton, South Carolina, and Shirley (Harry) Mole of Charleston, South Carolina; Brothers-in-law: Charles Williams of Atlanta, Georgia, and Anthony (Brandi) Williams of Aurora, Colorado; Grandchildren reared in the home: Tanazha Wrice, and Zymir Grant, both of Varnville, South Carolina, Savannah Warner of Springfield, Georgia, Juan, Jr., Precious Dakota and Paris. Great grand, Ryleigh; A host of devoted nieces, nephews, and other sympathizing friends.  Devoted cousins: Ida Mae Williams, Linda (Don) Collins, Lee Morris, Kenny Joyner, and Rodney McQuire.
