Hampton, South Carolna  -  Willie Claire Singleton, III, also known as "KaKa", was the son of Ms. Maggie Catherine Nelson Singleton and the late Mr. Willie C. Singleton, Jr.  He was born September 26, 1965 in Estill, South Carolina.  On Saturday morning, March 9, 2013, God told "KaKa" you, have fought the good fight, you have finished the race, you have kept the faith, and you are now ready to be lifted up.

He attended Hampton School District Two of Estill, South Carolina.  As a young boy, his Christian experience led him to worship at Long Branch Baptist Church of Gifford, South Carolina.  It was there that Willie Claire Singleton, III accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. Willie C. Singleton, III subsequently entered the doors of St. Annie New Church of God in Christ, Varnville, South Carolina, where he served faithfully. Through life's trials and tribulations, Willie learned to trust in the Lord.

In April, 2000, he met the love of his life, Ms. Shirley Ann Doctor; and together they became one.

In addition to his father, "KaKa' was predeceased by his brother, Mr. Carl Singleton, Sr.

He leaves precious memories to cherish his loving and devoted companion and friend of over fifteen years, Shirley Ann Doctor of the home; Two sons: Vashon Lamont [Melissa] Williams of Jersey City, New Jersey and Jarelle Brazeal of Brooklyn, New York; Three daughters: Brandi Lanise Singleton of Tucker, Georgia, Fallon Ahmaabdree'a Mixson of Varnville, South Carolina and Egeria Bryant of Scotia, South Carolina; A beloved mother, Maggie Catherine Nelson Singleton of Estill, South Carolina; One sister, Avyce Singleton of Syracuse, New York; Four grandchildren: Darius, Alycia, Aniyah and Alyyssa Williams; Two brothers: Vachon [Charlotta] Singleton of Syracuse, New York and Cregg [Detrixe Ellis] Singleton of Charlotte, North Carolina; Nieces and nephews of whom are two special nephews: Little Master Cregg Singleton, Jr. of Charlotte, North Carolina  and Christopher Singleton, Demarus Garner, Jeremy Vashon Garner, Tasheika Garner, Shakema garner, Ahmad Felsiha Frazier, Darrell Suggs and Johnathan Clark;  Two aunts:  Mary Ann Williams of Estill, South Carolina and Donnie Nelson of Furman, South Carolina; One uncle, Tony Singleton of Gifford, South Carolina; His father and mother-in-law: Frank and Barbara Mixson; Three sisters and brothers-in-law: Tammy [Darrell] Suggs of Charleston, South Carolina. Felecia [Vincent] Frazier and Monica [Jonathan] Clark of Columbia, South Carolina; His god-son, Little Master Jamar Harley of Varnville, South Carolina; A host of other loving friends and family including a special co-worker, Terrance Taylor.
