Ms. Ellen Iola Glover, the daughter of the late Mr. Lucius Glover and Mrs. Florence Doctor Glover, was born July 20, 1934 in Varnville, Hampton County, South Carolina.  She sleep away peacefully at her residence on Saturday, March 19, 2016. 

“Iola”, as she was affectionately called, was educated in the public schools of Hampton County.  At a young age, she became a baptized member of Antioch Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, Varnville, South Carolina.  Iola was a loving and peaceful individual who loved her family. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers: Mr. Ed Gover, Mr. Perry Glover, Mr. Luke Glover and Mr. Willis Glover; and four sisters: Ms. Lucy Minus, Ms. Corean Glover, Mrs. Mamie Williams and Mrs. Lucille Williams. 

To cherish the memory of Iola are: Her brother, Mr. Berness (Elease) Glover of the Camp Branch Community of Varnville, South Carolina; Four who were reared like brothers: Mr. Lennon Glover of Summerville, South Carolina, Mr. Calvin Glover of Aiken, South Carolina, Mr. Melvin Glover of Brooklyn, New York, and Mr. Frankie Lee Glover of Georgia; A special niece, Ms. Penny Glover of the Camp Branch Community of Varnville; Other caring family members and friends.
