A Reflection of Her Life
Christine Lorraine Doctor Hamilton, due to natural causes, passed away on February 14, 2023.  She was born in Wilmington, Delaware on August 14, 1944, to Ms. Viola Doctor and was raised in Camp Branch, SC in the home of her grandparents, the late Elder Isaac Doctor and Florence Doctor.

At an early age, she became a member of the Antioch Christian Church, Varnville, SC.  She was a graduate of the former North District Training School, Class of 1962.  Upon graduation, she relocated to Brooklyn, New York; but all she wanted was to return home to Varnville. And her wish came true May 2022.

She fed everyone she came in contact with, and it was always served with a little sass. That was her way of showing love.

In addition to her mother and grandparents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hamilton Sr.; her son, William “Darnell” Doctor; a grandson, DeVon Watts; a brother, Thomas Allen; uncles and aunts (reared as siblings): Rudolph Doctor, Shellie Doctor, Argie Lee Dunbar, Margie Lee Doctor, and Bernease Capers.

She leaves to cherish her memories a daughter, Christina “Tina” Hamilton; a son, Robert ”Bug“ Hamilton, Jr.; her grandchildren: Shatandra Givens, Shakina Clapp, Shanice Hamilton, Donna Greene, Shamel Hamilton and Samantha Hamilton; (13) great grandchildren; (2) brothers: Rudolph Jones (Barbara) and Matthew Allen (Cheryl); (2) Sisters: Rosella Taylor and Juanita Bradley (Julius); (2) Uncles, Pastor Thomas Doctor, Sr. (Dorothy) and James Capers. both of the Camp Branch Community of Varnville, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends
