Larry "Jeff" Jenkins, born to the late Harry Buster Jenkins and Audrey Rodd Jenkins, departed this life on Monday, December 18, 2017, at his residence in Varnville, South Carolina. 

He was born on August 3, 1946 in Varnville, Hampton County, South Carolina.  Larry was reared in the home of his sister, Maggie Smith of Varnville, South Carolina. 

Larry was educated in the public schools of Hampton County, South Carolina. And, at an early age, Larry joined Samaritan Missionary Baptist Church of Varnville, South Carolina. 

Upon graduation, he sought employment and became gainfully employed by Brunson Construction of Hampton, South Carolina. 

In addition to his parents, preceding him in death were three brothers: Marion Jenkins, Willie Jenkins, and Louis "Sack" Jenkins; and one sister, Emily Jenkins Kelly. 

Larry leaves to mourn his home going two sisters: Maggie Smith and Ethel (Bobby) Ruth, both of Varnville, South Carolina; four brothers: Harold (Betty) Jenkins of New Hampshire, James (Marie) Jenkins of Arlington, Virginia, Donald (Parthenia) Jenkins, of Tampa, Florida and Joseph (Beverly) Jenkins of Varnville, South Carolina; a sister-in-law, Frances Singleton of Savannah, Georgia; a special and devoted niece, Mae Frances Smith of Varnville, South Carolina; a host of loving nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
